Back in 2002, I was at the ADA convention in New Orleans. One thing on my wish list that year was a website that I could have designed for me to fit the personality of my practice. One of the first booths I came across was DDS.com's. I met and talked with Rich for over an hour and was impressed by what I saw. I signed up on the spot, at which time I found out that I was his first customer! I've seen DDS.com change from a rather simple webpage design and hosting company that provided a 10 page website into the very impressive and user friendly business tool that provides over 200 pages of content that can be edited by me and my team.
Being his first client, I've been through some minor technical issues over the years with DDS.com. But whenever there was a problem, Rich was on it right away. He personally handled many of the issues in the early days and he is still very hands on. He and his team still answer my email requests or questions more quickly than I get from any other company. As a fellow dentist, Rich "gets it" from a dental perspective since he knows what we do when we are in our office. The thing that impresses me the most about Rich and DDS.com is that they are never static. Rich and his team are always adding functionality and ease of use features to make the service better.
My favorite aspect of DDS.com is the Web Wizard functionality. It makes it ridiculously easy to edit the pages even for someone with no HTML knowledge. However, the Web Wizard wasn't initially functional on a Mac so I requested this, and they delivered. The latest improvement that I see his team working on is Search Engine Optimization for our sites. I also think it is extraordinary that the DDS.com website is created with the Web Wizard so he is not just selling his service, he uses it, too!

I was skeptical for a while about the reasons for having a website since I have a referral based practice and I don't do a lot of marketing. However, a colleague recommended the dental website service at DDS.com and after doing some research, I decided to sign up. I liked the fact that I was able to have direct input into the site design and I like the fact that I can change my website without any knowledge about computer programming. What I like more, however, is the educational content that the website provides to my patients and it help answer a lot of questions that my patients have about various procedures. Our website and logo, which were both custom designed by our friends at DDS.com, has allowed us to educate our patients better than we have been able to before. It has been the bridge from internal to external marketing that we had been looking for. Recently, I became a new client for DDS.com and their website hosting services. Their services were attractive to me because of the flexibility of the websites and the ability to edit and add content at any time. Dr. Hirschinger and his associates helped me through the step-by-step process of designing and building my site, of which we are very proud. I never knew how valuable Dr. Hirschinger's expertise would be until it came time to transfer my domain name from my old hosting service to DDS.com. Instead of making a clean and simple transfer, my old company decided to shut my website down and put my domain name in limbo. My website was down, my email was down and even worse, I had no access to the domain name to get things started again. Dr. Hirschinger was completely available to me in order to help me work through my problem. He answered every email and multiple telephone calls. When the old company refused to cooperate with me, he personally took charge of my situation. Rich made several personal telephone calls trying to resolve the situation then at one point spent over 1 1/2 hours on the phone with the old hosting service getting my site back online. Without his help and dedication, my website might have been down for 2 months before I would have had access to it again. Rich turned my Internet nightmare into my new dream website.
