Domain Name Registration

We can register domain names for you, and we can register one or multiple domain names.  Domain names can be registered for up to 10 years.  We recommend a 10 year registration so that it is one less thing to have to deal with on an annual basis.  The registration fee is $20 per year and it can be charged to your card on file.

When registering a domain name, it can be registered one of three ways:
  1. Using DBG Holdings, which is our company name
  2. Using your name
  3. Using private registration
Registration requires a name, address, email address, and phone number.  If it is listed under your name, you will get junk mail and spam but you will be 'listed' as the owner.  If it is under our name, then we get the spam and junk mail, which we already receive.  Using private registration means the information is not publicly available but it adds an additional $20 per year to the cost of the registration.  Under all three scenarios, you are the full owner of the domain and retain full rights.  It is simply a matter of choice and it makes no difference to us.  If it is initially registered under DBG Holdings and you want it registered under your name, send us an email from the main doctors email account, and it will be changed within 24 hours.  If it is initially registered under DBG Holdings and you want the domain name transferred off our servers, email us from the main doctors email account with the request, we will then send a reply via email with an attached from, the doctor needs to sign and date the form and return the form to use via email or via fax, transmit the fax to 310.228.6339.  After the proper request has been receive, the domain name tranfer process will begin within 24 hours.

Proper domain name registration is extremely important. If it is not done properly, the domain name ownership can be in dispute, which is never good.  Please click the link to read about a domain name registration nightmare that took a few days for us to resolve.  It it wasn't resolved, the website would be offline until 2017.

Here are examples of the type of junk mail the "domain name" owner will likely receive.  If you don't want to deal with this, then we suggest that domain names be registered in our name.
This is an example of a letter the domain owner might receive requesting payment for listing on a search engine.  This is an unsolicited letter that does not need to be paid.

This is another unsolicited letter requesting payment for "annual Website Marketing and Monitoring Bundle."  Again, this is an unsolicited letter that does not need to be paid since it is just some unknown business trying to fish money from domain name owners.
