DDS.com TeleVox Comparison

This chart compares the DDS.com and TeleVox website services.  The companies take two very different approaches in the service they provide to their clients.  DDS.com provides the most content in the industry, with relevant, educational graphics on most pages.  The links are actual links to live sites so click on them to see the different approach used by each company.  You will see that the DDS.com service is much more educational, and that almost any page can be opened in the operatory to explain more about that procedure.  TeleVox provides very few pages so it is more of a brochure site approach, and their sites are not editable by the clients.  Below are just some of the differences between the two services.

New Patient Forms Fillable, all forms open in one link.  If your staff can read the form, it greatly reduces any data entry errors. Forms do not appear to be online.  This is a great way to send new patients to the website and it is a missed opportunity.
Map Interactive - patient stays on the website. No map.  Patient is sent to Mapquest. Click on Driving Directions to see map.
Post Op Instructions Numerous pages.  All pages are editable, too! No apparent content on this topic.
Smile Gallery Over 90 cases to start.  Client is encouraged to add their own cases.  Patients do not understand a procedure described in writing but they can understand a procedure if they see before and after images. Some cases but not many.
Editable Website Yes, simply type and click to add/edit content.  The DDS.com website is created with the same website editor the clients use so it is not just a service we sell, it is a service we use!  View the demos. Yes but there service is missing many of the features requested by dentists such as hidden pages, password protected pages, and secure pages.  The website for the company is not created with their own editor so they don't use the service they sell to their clients to use.
