This is a client of Anton's, www.PleasantValleyDental.net. This site easily qualifies as "low hanging fruit." In other words, the website, in my opinion, is essentially useless since it is missing so many features. Here are my observations.
 1. The site is almost 100% invisible to Google, and it needs to be redone. The website is made up of images, which is not good. Go to www.DDS.com/META_Tags enter the domain name at the bottom of the page, enter the code and click Spider. You will now see what Google sees, which is not much. To the right is a screenshot of http://pleasantvalleydentalnet.nxg.superpageshosting.com/health.html. You can see that the only text on the page that a search engine can see is one word, "health." If the goal is to stay invisible, then they did a great job but I doubt that is the goal. The web company that created this should not be creating websites for dentists and I question whether they should be creating websites for anyone. Harsh, but true.
2. The site is being hosted by the phone company. Look at the page name. It is a sub-domain of the phone company!
4. Their patient registration forms are not online.
5. There is no footer text.
6. The site is a brochure site since there is not much educational information, and what is present is a lot of text.

Every single page is an "image." This page, http://pleasantvalleydentalnet.nxg.superpageshosting.com/staff.html looks like it has text but you cannot select the text, and if you right click you will be able to "save image as..." |
